SolidWorks (Desktop) MCP
Early Access final betaDesktop Windows SolidWorks via the ForgeMCP local bridge — 50 tools; your models never leave your machine
View the MCP server →Mechanical CAD is where ForgeMCP started. SolidWorks (Desktop) and Autodesk Inventor are both in Early Access final beta — you can subscribe and download them today; SolidWorks 3DEXPERIENCE (Cloud) is coming soon. Register interest in any other platform below and your vote sets what ships next.
MCAD MCP servers let an AI assistant read feature trees, measure and set dimensions, build parametric geometry, and export manufacturing formats inside your CAD seat. Desktop platforms run through the ForgeMCP local bridge — your models never leave your machine — while cloud platforms connect through the vendor's own API.

See the Onshape page →PTC terms (as reviewed) strongly restrict third-party tools — subject to change. Register interest; if terms resolve it moves to by-request (licensing-gated).
Heads up: this vendor's developer terms, as reviewed, don't appear to permit a third-party MCP. Register interest anyway — if you have a relationship or leverage with the vendor, we may need your help to make it happen.
Cloud Creo — same third-party restriction as Creo Parametric (subject to change). Register interest; revisited if terms allow.

Yes — the ForgeMCP SolidWorks (Desktop) MCP server is in Early Access final beta and available today: a 50-tool local bridge for desktop Windows SolidWorks covering the feature tree, dimensions, parametric creation, equations, and STL/STEP export. Your models never leave your workstation. It is a beta — expect rough edges and frequent updates — and it requires the Desktop Connector add-on with per-device activation on Engineer, Team, or Business. A separate SolidWorks 3DEXPERIENCE (Cloud) connector — for cloud SOLIDWORKS on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform — is coming soon. See the SolidWorks page to get started.
Not yet. PTC's developer terms, as we've reviewed them, don't appear to permit a third-party MCP server. Register interest above anyway — enough Creo demand (or a customer with vendor leverage) is what would move a licensing-gated build forward.
Yes — the ForgeMCP Autodesk Inventor MCP server is in Early Access final beta and available today, on the same Windows Desktop Connector build as SolidWorks: it reads assembly structure and parameters, drives iProperties and features, pulls drawing and GD&T data, and exports STEP/DXF/STL. It requires the Desktop Connector add-on with per-device activation on Engineer, Team, or Business. See the Inventor page to get started.
