Engineers already have the results — the report is the tedious part. When you finish a GD&T analysis, symbolic-math calculation, or SolidWorks design review, FlowGuideAI turns it into the formal report and saves it to your FlowGuideAI workspace. 74 Engineering & Legal templates built around your tools — tolerance stack-ups, calculation reports, ECOs, DFMEAs, Design History Files, and IP Assignment documentation — no copy-pasting, version-controlled from the first save.

Why first-party matters

Your engineering data deserves better than a marketplace

Owner-operated — no marketplace, no surprise code

Every server is built and operated by our team across ForgeMCP and FlowGuideAI — both under the same company. No marketplace, no community uploads, no surprise dependencies inside your Claude session. Where a tool uses open source — currently only the Symbolic Math engine — it's a highly reputable project, fully audited, and run on our own infrastructure.

Audit-ready infrastructure

Your engineering data passes through infrastructure we control and audit end-to-end. Full MCP server source code available for review by Enterprise customers on request.

⏱ SOC 2 Type II · in progress

Your data, your control

Hosted plans (Solo, Engineer, Team, Business) run on ForgeMCP's isolated, audited compute infrastructure — no shared compute, no cross-tenant access. Enterprise adds VPC / BYO deployment: run ForgeMCP inside your own infrastructure, credentials never leave your environment.

Common questions

What engineers ask about ForgeMCP

ForgeMCP is a SaaS platform that provides production-grade Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for engineering software and documentation. It connects Claude to GD&T Compute, Symbolic Math, Autodesk, Onshape, SolidWorks, and FlowGuideAI — all built and operated by our team across ForgeMCP and FlowGuideAI (same company); the only open-source component, the Symbolic Math engine, is highly reputable, fully audited, and run on our own infrastructure. Engineers add a single ForgeMCP endpoint URL to Claude's integration settings and Claude gains the ability to run math, verify tolerances, drive CAD models, and generate formal engineering reports and documentation. No. ForgeMCP is not a marketplace, hub, or registry for third-party servers. Every MCP server on the platform is built and maintained by our engineering team — through ForgeMCP for engineering servers, and FlowGuideAI for compliance documentation, both operated under the same company. No external submissions, no community-built servers, no open uploads of any kind. This eliminates prompt-injection risk through malicious tool descriptions, credential theft via third-party implementations, and supply-chain exposure in your Claude sessions. The GD&T Compute MCP Server requires no credentials — it is pure compute with no external dependencies. Cloud platforms (Onshape, Autodesk, SolidWorks 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud) connect your existing vendor account during ForgeMCP setup: we use OAuth where the vendor supports it, or an API key you generate in your vendor portal — no local installation. Desktop SolidWorks is different by design, and it is available today in Early Access final beta: it runs through the ForgeMCP local bridge installed on your Windows workstation, activated per device with the Desktop Connector add-on, so your models never leave your machine. Being a beta, expect rough edges and frequent updates; it needs Engineer, Team, or Business plus that add-on. In every case your software license stays with the vendor — ForgeMCP authenticates as you using your authorized access.
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. The Bring-Your-Own (BYO) deployment option lets you run ForgeMCP MCP servers inside your own VPC or on-premise environment. Credentials and CAD data never leave your infrastructure. BYO is not available on Hosted plans (Solo, Engineer, Team, Business) — those run on ForgeMCP's isolated, audited compute infrastructure. No tier is Claude-only. Solo includes Claude and ChatGPT. Engineer, Team, Business, and Enterprise include all AI platforms, including Grok. Gemini and Perplexity are coming soon and activate on Engineer, Team, Business, and Enterprise as each integration clears the platform's review process — at no extra charge, with no separate SKU required. The platform column in your dashboard shows which integrations are currently live. Compare plans →
All accounts support passkey login (FIDO2 / WebAuthn — Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, YubiKey), four OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Apple), TOTP 2FA via any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy), and backup codes for recovery. No SMS authentication is used anywhere on the platform. Enterprise plans add SAML 2.0 SSO, SCIM 2.0 auto-provisioning, and OIDC — with IdP-enforced MFA so your engineers are not double-prompted through Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace.
